The perfect college roommate now exists!
When I left home to attend university, my two cats remained with my parents. And even though I knew they were well-cared for, living without Princess and Sox was bloody miserable.
But now, students at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich., can apply to live with their furry friends in a pet-friendly dorm. Officials say they expect that the companionship will ease the anxiety and homesickness students often feel while away from home.
Maybe in time, if this pilot program goes well, many other schools will follow suit.
