A silent proposal
Darian Brinkley wasn't planning to propose to his girlfriend, flight attendant Minita Tanner, until after they had arrived in Cancun. But once he began talking to nearby passengers on the Delta flight from Atlanta to Mexico about how he was going to pop the question, he decided not to wait.
Without letting Tanner know what he was doing, Brinkley received permission from the flight crew to ask for her hand while in still in the air. The other passengers got in on the big moment by surreptitiously agreeing to hold up quickly-drawn signs that said: "Will you marry me?"
Once Tanner went to the bathroom, Brinkley took a knee, right in the aisle, held up an open ring box and waited for her to come out.
